Cathedrals - Behave

Cathedrals is a blend of modern sensibility, soul crooning, and electronic beats; Behave is a 90s throwback with a swanky Garbage-style groove. This is exactly the music I expect to be playing all day long on the beach in Saint Tropez. It is private-beach tanning music: the soundtrack of hotness.

Genres: they are mots du jour. 20 years ago trip-hop was acid jazz; chillwave was mid-tempo 80's pop, and dreamwave wasn't a thing yet. Cathedrals, and other bands like this - I'm looking at you Chvrches - are walking beyond the existing genre hybrids of trip-hop, and synth-pop, exposing the weakness we have in language itself to properly describe the nuance of human experience.

Cathedrals are a pop duo from San Francisco. This song is currently featured on our CHILL Angeles playlist.
