Birds of Chicago - Superlover

Birds of Chicago - Superlover

I love the feeling of banjo accompanying a deep soul vocal delivery; ever since I heard Ballpeen Hammer off of Dirt Floor, there's a place in my heart for that sound. This is an intimate tell-all about intimacy and the risks involved with being open to love.

It's a live performance with haunting natural reverb and a tremendous melancholy that seems to hang in the air after the band is finished. The star of the show is the song itself and the vocals that support it. It is a wonderful delivery of JT Nero's direct and poignant lyricism.

Birds of Chicago began in 2012 and have developed a fervent following, touring 200 nights a year since their formation.
